Practical Pleat air filters are 5" thick pleated filters that are designed to fit into standard 1" return grilles, with no modifications to the grille required! The Practical Pleat is designed to give you better air flow, superior MERV 11 filtration efficiency, and longer filter life compared to standard filters. Simply remove your old filter and slide the Practical Pleat into place!
Low Pressure Drop - Since the Practical Pleat surface area is 433% greater than a comparable one-inch pleated filter, there is less resistance to air flow compared to standard 1" filters. The Practical Pleat MERV 11 filter achieves a reduction in pressure drop of 41%, .09 in W.G.
- Easy to Install - simply remove your 1" filter and slide the Practical Pleat in into place and close the grille. The gasket doubles as a lip that holds the Practical Pleat in the grille.

Practical Pleats have a 1/4" undercut on all dimensions as is industry standard for filter sizing. If you need exact length and width dimensions, please contact us to have your size added. The thickness is fixed at 4-3/4". The best way to find out what size you need is to measure your current filter.
