Nominal sizing (1/2" undercut on L x W, up to 1/4" undercut on thickness)
Permatron DuraLo (Model DLO) is a washable polypropylene media air filter that works extremely well in wet environments, because the woven media of polypropylene is manufactured as a mono (single strand) filament. It does not have a porous surface, meaning it will not absorb or retain moisture, and does not encourage the growth of mold, bacteria, viruses, yeast or fungi. These are all common air filtration complaints in the boating/shipping industry. Containing our exclusive Accumulator Chamber® construction, this filter is designed to work in applications requiring very low resistance to air flow or high velocity air flow. Available in 1″ or 2″ thickness, the filter media is encased in a front and rear black plastic grid for added support, framed in stainless steel.
Initial Resistance: (0.05" w.g. 1" frame), (0.06" w.g. 2" frame)
5 Year Warranty

This filter does not remove salt from the air, the filter itself is resistant to the effects of corrosive environments.
A note about washable filter frame thickness:
All washable filters have the same amount of filtering media no matter the thickness of the filter frame. The frames are available in many sizes to allow users to install the filter into varying widths of tracks, slots, grilles, etc. This eliminates the need for modification of the track/slot/grille/etc. when switching from one type of filter to another, i.e. switching from a 2" thick pleated filter to a washable filter. All washable filters must be washed monthly; so they are made with enough media to work as designed and allow for proper dust holding capacity until the monthly wash is required. A thicker frame on a washable filter does not contain more media nor is the media doubled up or thicker in any way. The advertised efficiency and air flow remains the same throughout all thicknesses of washable filters in each of their respective LxW dimensions. In filtration, the efficiency is the particle size a filter will capture.
